Beaumont is a a beautiful, black and tan brindled Akita-German Shepherd. He was found in North County very underweight and heartworm positive but has recovered beautifully. He loves going for walks although they need to be very short walks in the heat. He is crate trained, knows how to sit, lay down, stay, shake and comes when called. Beaumont loves being with people but can be very protective of his home and family so he needs to be in a home without children or other dogs. Beaumont is friendly with cats although he will chase them if they're up for a game of tag. He is also very good with his foster family's backyard chickens.
