Cedar is one smart dog. What do you do when it's hot outside and you're in the yard. You find the coolest bunch of rocks you can, stretch out as far as you can, and show everybody that you have the most adorable tongue ever. Cedar could pass any dog IQ test with flying colors.
Cedar is the perfect dog. She weighs a mere 45 pounds, which makes her a great couch companion. At the age of two, she's not a puppy but is certainly young enough to play actively for many years. She loves going for walks, and she excels at Fetch. In fact, when she brings the ball back, she'll stick it right between your knees so you don't even have to bend down to pick it up.
Cedar has been on a five mile hike and loved it. She was a perfect car rider, sitting in the back seat, not making a sound. She is better behaved away from the shelter - calmer, more affectionate, and more attentive. She is eager to please, loves treats and will shower you with kisses just for taking her out into the great outdoors. Her main thrill on the hike was playing in the creek.
Cedar had a rough start in life. She really wants all of your attention and would do best as an only dog. She needs a forever home with someone who is active and willing to teach her to trust the world again.
