Diamond in the Ruff

OK - you know you cannot resist this picture.  Diamond In The Ruff is just a beautiful, slightly goofy dog with a great smile because she is finally living the good life.  And she is happy.  Diamond In The Ruff lived on a chain her entire life.  She never got a chance to run and play.  Her so-called "family" moved away and didn't bother to take this wonderful young lady with them.  When a new family moved into the house, they took care of her as long as they could, but they had to care for their own dog as well.  So it was Stray Rescue who finally came into Diamond's life one lucky day.

Diamond In The Ruff now runs and plays in the yard every day.  She loves her walks.  In fact her picture has caught her mid-stride, heading out the door to romp.  She smiles all the time now and wins new human friends.  Everyone calls her sweet.  Diamond In The Ruff loves people and likes to lean on them for some affection.  She would like to be a lap dog and shower you with kisses.  Recently Diamond In The Ruff got to go on a five mile hike with her shelter friends where she showed all of her good characteristics.  She waited patiently to get leashed, kept up easily on the hike with the others, loved exploring nature - and, most importantly, let everyone know how much she likes treats.  She would make a great running or hiking buddy.

Diamond in the Ruff asks for very little in life.  If you can offer her some kind words, loving attention and play space, she will be your very best friend - forever.
