Hi! My name is Vickers, and I am one of three pups that was rescued near a gas station. My littermates and I were being kept in terrible conditions until Stray Rescue saved us.
I now live in a foster home where I love playing with the other dogs. In fact, I haven't met a dog that I don't like! My biggest wish is to live with another dog in my forever home. My foster mom says that I am super smart. I am crate-trained, potty-trained, walk well on a leash, know how to sit, and am learning other obedience behaviors. I am also a pro at fetch and am very fond of my squeaky toys. Everyone says that I am a handsome guy with my golden eyes and soft, reddish fur. But I really like when my foster mom tells me that I am a "sweet boy" when I cuddle with her.
Because of my rough start in life, I am learning how to trust people and new situations. I am shy and a little fearful at first. But with time and patience, I get very comfortable and create strong bonds with my friends. I am just waiting for the chance to have my own forever home. If you fill out an application to meet me, my foster mom will contact you.
PLEASE NOTE THAT VICKERS IS IN A FOSTER HOME AND NOT AT OUR SHELTER.
PLEASE CHECK STATUS BEFORE FILLING OUT AN APPLICATION TO MAKE SURE THERE IS NOT AN ADOPTION PENDING.
