| Barley was found in a very dangerous part of town. Someone or something had injured him pretty badly. He was rushed to the vet and it was touch and go for a long time. We thought we were going to lose him. But Barley's strong will to live came through and he wasn't about to give up. He must have figured "If I didn't die on the street, I'm sure not going to die now that I've been rescued". Barley is now the picture of health. We're amazed by him every day. He's doing really well at the shelter and can't wait to be in a home of his own. Barley is housebroken and very well behaved. He will, however, need to be an only pet.
