Stray Rescue is pleased to announce that it was chosen along
with 4 other local animal welfare groups to receive a grant from the Build-a-Bear
organization, which has its headquarters here in St. Louis. Shawn Bertani
of Build-a-Bear presented the check to Randy Grim at the Build-a-Bear's
store in the St. Louis Galleria on Monday, November 15. This generous
grant will be used to pay for the medical bills for the dogs we rescue.
As you might imagine, our veterinarian bills are quite high because of
the poor condition of the dogs at the time of rescue. A big bear hug of
thanks goes out to Bearemy and his friends for helping Stray Rescue. |
