The Rescue of the Addams Family

  

3 years of seeing this wonderful street dog that managed to stay just elusive enough to not be rescued.  There were stretches of time I wouldn’t see her for months but then she would show up for her hotdog and some much needed food.  She had litters of puppies before with most dying from the usual suspects; cold, extreme heat, malnourished,disease or at the hand of cruel people.  

With time comes trust and now named Morticia, she started hanging around me without running away. But on this cold winter day in front of a busy church she came trotting down the street with her pups in tow, like a mama duck and her ducklings.  Here is the Addams Family  and their rescue to that special chance at a better life.
