	Single, brown/white, middle-aged, chubby female seeking long term, committed relationship. Distinguishing characteristics: chronic tail-wagging and constant nudging of hands with wet nose to encourage petting. Frequent hangouts: Dog bed in bedroom; seated at your feet wherever you happen to be. On top of all that Doris walks well on a leash and is house broken. Doris will be spayed, micro chipped and vaccinated soon. She was a little shy when she first came to her foster mom's house but she has warmed up a lot. She is extremely mellow, sweet and the gentlest dog you could ever imagine. If you look up the word 'calm' in the dictionary, you will see a picture of Doris. Once you meet her, it is impossible not to fall in love with her. If you are looking for a companion, a snuggler, someone to go on short walks with, she's your girl. Doris has arthritis so going up and down flights of stairs on a regular basis would probably not be a good idea but she has no problem negotiating an occasional flight of stairs. She goes downstairs to do laundry with her foster mom or down the two stairs to the back yard. She is excellent with other dogs. She's had limited exposure to cats and small children but got along with them just fine when they have been together. She is eligible for the Senior-for-Senior Program.
