| This is Gaddie, one of the sweetest and gentlest dogs you will ever meet. Gaddie was rescued with her friends Marin and Carter. She and Carter are either mother and son or brother and sister. They both have the cutest, crazy ears and adorable face. Gaddie was in pretty bad shape when rescued. The people who called about her were afraid she wouldn't survive another day on the street. When we arrived we saw they were correct. Gaddie could barely lift her head to eat or drink any of the water the nice people had left for her. We were hopeful when she put up a little fuss getting into our car. That told us she still had some fight left in her. She was taken to the vet immediately where she stayed for a few weeks. She is now on the road to recovery and doing wonderfully in her foster home. She is very gentle and walks great on a leash. Gaddie is completely house broken and is not destructive. Gaddie is crate trained but is also just as happy spending the day on the couch watching TV while waiting for you to come home from work. She gets along with other dogs and would do well with older children but needs to be in a cat free home. Gaddie loves to be loved on and will happily spend time laying next to you on the couch for lovin' or just following you from room to room as you go about your day. Gaddie would also make a great companion for someone who is home during the day. While she can be playful, it is her calm and gentle spirit that will melt your heart.
