| Stray Rescue's 2006 Birdies, Bogies and Barks Golf Tournament | ||||

| October 3 turned out to be a beautiful day for our annual golf tournament and it was our best year ever. Good food, good friends, lots of fun and prizes made the day exceptional. We are especially grateful for Kennelwood Village and Nestle Purina who were the main sponsors of our tournament. We are also thankful for the following donors who helped sponsor this event: Carol House Furniture, Beech-Nut Nutrition, Dobbs Tire and Auto Centers, Wolfgang's Pet Stop, Mr. and Mrs. John Shaw, Bunzl Distribution, Hillside Animal Hospital, Ziern-Hanon Galleries, American Airlines and Logo Masters, Inc. Because of their help, many more dogs are able to be saved from the agony of street life. Every time we save a street dog, many litters of unwanted puppies are never born on the street to add to the overpopulation problem. Below are photos of the event, taken by Donna Lochmann. |

 While on his way to the dinner and awards ceremony, Randy Grim rescued "Norman" (named for the Norman Probstein golf course) off Jefferson. Norman was exhausted by his big adventure and fell asleep before the night was over. |
