| If you want to feel like a Rockstar then Jive is the dog for you. When her foster guardians come home she is so excited she sings and dances, in her own way. She hops in circles and taps her paws while making a high pitched yelp. It may have taken months for Jive to react this way since she was feral, born on the streets, but it is so gratifying to see her behave like this now. She was so timid at first but also learned to love getting scratched under the chin and between her ears. She expresses her happiness by rolling around on her back making funny noises. The more her fosters laugh the more she does it. She also likes to lay next to them and tuck her nose behind them to keep it warm. Jive makes silly faces when they give her a spoonful of peanut butter. Her eyes get really big. She gets so excited when she has a new toy and squeaks it till it can't squeak anymore. If you have a yard and another dog or two then Jive can fit right in. It's hard to believe Jive was part of a pack of at least 20. The Black Pack rescue story can be found in the Spring newsletter available on the web site under News/Events. In the past year Jive has come a long. She is already housebroken and crate trained. She is spayed, micro chipped and has all her vaccinations. On top of that her fosters will dog-sit her if you ever go out of town since it takes Jive time to adjust to new surroundings.
