| My name is Jobe but I go by Joe. I am a gray/tuxedo looking handsome man about 2 years old. My guardian was evicted and put me outside to survive on my own. I was used to the indoors. The feral cats came around in groups to fight with me. I had a lot of wounds from the ferals going after me. I was finally rescued after months on the street. I have healed nicely and would love to return to the indoors and play. I enjoy playing with a feather, and a ball that goes around in a circle. I would do best in a home with another female. I have a girlfriend who spends the night with me in a room. We are a real pair and are together all of the time. I tolerate the two dogs in the home and am learning to tolerate the other males. But, if I get around another male, I tend to get my guard up immediately - it's the days on the street and being scared and trying to survive that I haven't forgotten. Update: I now am a lazy cat who no longer tries to defend myself. I now know no one is going to hurt me. As you can see, I even like dogs. I do however, enjoy sitting on the screened in porch, watching the foster kittens play and hanging out with the other female foster cats. |
