September 30, 2005 Update     On Thursday, September 29, after dropping off much needed supplies, our third caravan arrived with more dogs and cats from the hurricane disaster area in Mississippi and Louisiana. We welcomed into our arms another 17 dogs and puppies as well as 21 kittens bringing our grand total to 75 animals that we have placed into foster homes here in St. Louis. Thank you for your donations as they will provide the necessary medical care these animals require. At minimum, all will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for heartworms and parasites. Any additional medical conditions will be treated as well. We are so grateful to all of you who have helped make this effort so successful. Check back next week to read about our next caravan! Woof! Randy Grim
