October 7, 2005 Update

Once again, Stray Rescue welcomed 11 additional dogs from Mississippi bringing our total number of Katrina dogs to 86. We brought up lots of happy go lucky lab mixes and several very sweet puppies and hope to get them all up on the web site soon. You will recognize these dogs because each will have a name that ends with "Doll". We know this sounds strange but it is our way of recognizing Doll Stanley, the director of Project Hope in Grenada, Mississippi and who is helping coordinate the animals that are to come to Stray Rescue. As soon as we get caught up, look for these dogs on our web site. However, please note that many of these dogs will be showing up at our adoption events in the near future. Please see our event calendar for these locations weekly.

Our weekly caravans will continue as long as our foster network and donations continue to support this effort. We are SO GRATEFUL to our supporters. Despite the horrible impact from Hurricane Katrina, it seems as though humanity has rebounded with equal magnitude and this has been so inspiring and heart warming for all of us. Check back in next week!!!!

Woof!
