  THE RESCUE OF MERCY

What do you do when you see a poor soul like this barely making it down the street, you jump out! This is how Mercy came to Stray Rescue. Expecting to see her run away, she stayed put and just gave me a flat look as if saying - nothing you can do to me can be any worst than what man has already done. Well, with tears welling up in my eyes, I picked up her fragile broken body. She didn't put up a fight at all. She had no choice but to trust me, she had nothing to lose.

. Back at the vet she is already showing signs of being happy. Although she is obviously sick and has a long recovery, Stray Rescue has already started to heal the most important part of this amazing dogs' body, her heart. I wish I could tell you all that Mercy is a rare case, but, sadly she is part of this growing epidemic of homeless street dogs. Look for updates in the future on our 'lil girl.
