	You will not meet a happier boy then Mickey. If he wants to get your attention he smiles or rolls over on his back for a belly rub. Mickey is a loving, devoted companion dog. He enjoys car rides and walks. He is an avid swimmer & will retrieve a stick in the lake until you are tired. But he's happiest just being by your side. Mickey is housebroken and is not destructive so he does not require a crate. He knows sit, stay, down, roll over, bed and catches food in the air and is willing to learn more tricks in his Forever Home. He is already neutered, Micro chipped and vaccinated. Mickey came to Stray Rescue as a stray a couple of years ago while we were working to rescue a pack of dogs living in a cemetery. Mickey was adopted for almost a year but was returned to Stray Rescue after the family neglected to treat an ear infection & complained he was "crabby". Instead of taking him to the vet, the family returned him. He is perfectly healthy now so Mickey is just looking for a loving home but he prefers to be the only pet. Mickey is eligible for the Seniors for Seniors Program which Stray Rescue waives the adoption fee for adopters over the age of 60. Fill out a Questionnaire/Application to find out when you can meet him at an adoption event. He qualifies for our Foster Program and Rent a Pet.
