| Hi! My name is Momma Cartwright. You may remember hearing about me from my sons Hoss and Little Joe. They were rescued last summer and have already gone onto their forever homes. Unfortunately Stray Rescue had to leave me behind because they didn't have any space at the shelter. As luck would have it I got pregnant again. Stray Rescue sent out a plea asking if someone would help and let me have my babies at their house instead of on the street where they probably wouldn't survive. Lucky for me a very nice lady named Syl opened up her house and her heart and I got to have my babies in a warm, loving home. I owe a huge debt of gratitude to her and her neighbor Elizabeth, who came and checked on me every day, gave me belly rubs when I needed them and sat up with me all night when I had my babies. I sure wish Stray Rescue had more friends like them. They are true angels. My new litter of babies have all gone to foster homes and are up for adoption. Be sure to look for them on Stray Rescue's website. And I'm now in a new foster home with the same lady who adopted Little Joe. When she brought me home we were so happy to see each other. We just kissed and kissed and kissed. I couldn't get over how big he had gotten. And he's quite good looking, too. He definitely takes after me. My foster mom tells me all the time that I am the perfect dog. I haven't had any accidents in the house. I get along great with the other dogs and the cats, too. I don't chew on anything so my foster mom doesn't crate me. All I do is lay around on my comfy bed and wait for her to get home. She also says I listen well and that I'm very beautiful. I like going for walks and rolling around in the grass in the back yard. I'm not a very big girl, either. I do have a shepherd head but a little body and short legs. I would love to go to a home where I'll get total body massages every day (my favorite thing), lots of belly rubs, people to kiss all over me and with someone who will let me stay in touch with my foster mom.
