The "Broken Leg" Pack

It was another day of single digit temperatures that had a sense of urgency. We needed to finish up the rescue of the Broken Leg Pack. We built huts for their survival on the streets, we've been feeding them, and they trusted us. The area is a high crime urban setting and time is never our friend when we're over there but we knew what we had to do to save them all.

The goal was to leave nobody behind. Armed with steak, cooked that morning, I felt confident. With Darrell's help, I knew we could do this, save the final four. They would have to be trapped because they were feral. With steak in the trap, it should go smooth which it did.

Now at the shelter, two of the four are already enjoy petting. One is already adoptable and our little buddy, Shandor, is coming around too. Spartacus, Aurora, Stucky, Lolly, Goodwin, Shandor and Caboose now have their second chance at life! Their plight will be featured on Fox 2 in February. Now they just need forever homes!
