Quentin has a message for everyone and it is going up on a billboard on Highway 40. He wants everyone to become an animal guardian and not an owner and for people to adopt their companion animals from a shelter. You can see his sign on westbound Highway 40, on the north side of the highway and adjacent to St. Louis University during the months of November, December, and through January 2005.

Quentin's billboard

As you know, Quentin is the national 'spokesdog' for the organization, In Defense of Animals (IDA). He and Randy travel around the United States promoting the concept of no-kill shelters and the legislative language change to animal guardian. Thanks to Randy's efforts and Mayor Slay, St. Louis is one of twelve cities in the United States to pass this ordinance change.

Stray Rescue would like to thank the following people and organizations who supported this effort: In Defense of Animals, Mr. and Mrs. John Shaw, Joe Hanon, Don and Betty Coleman, Charles Bobinette, Christine Mendez, Jennifer Smith, Dr. Francis Walker and Mr. and Mrs. Dan Peterson.
