| Rushmore was found running in and out of traffic on a very busy street. A nice woman pulled over to help and noticed how thin he was. With a little coaxing she was able to get him into her car. She called Stray Rescue and he was immediately taken to our vet. Other than being extremely underweight he was in pretty good shape. He's already putting on weight and his coat gets shinier every day. Rushmore can be a little shy at first but warms up quickly. He loves going for walks and playing in the yard at the shelter. He also hasn't had any accidents in his apartment. He gets along fine with other dogs but would prefer to be the boss. We're not really sure how he is with cats.
