At Stray Rescue, we're always looking for dedicated volunteers! We couldn't survive without them.
To volunteer, fill out our online volunteer form, or call us at 314-771-6121. Your help is greatly
appreciated! Some of the events and activities that we can always use help for are as follows:
- People to care for and walk animals staying at the new building, at 18th Street and Carroll in St.
Louis City. Even if it is one hour a week or everyday.
- Someone to track cards and posters at the stores they are being sold at, and restock as needed.
- Someone to mail and address card/poster mail orders.
- Help at adoption events, and people who would like to learn and run an entire event.
- Help with call backs and e-mail returns, phone interviews; you will have to become knowledgeable
with all aspects of Stray Rescue's operations.
- Assist with placing food at stray animal feeding areas.
- Recruitment of committed volunteers and fosters.
- A volunteer coordinator
- People to work with fundraising and fundraising events.
- Volunteers to help with follow up calls on adopted pets.
- Help with special events, such as the Holiday Gala, The Golf Outing, Woofstock, food booths at
Cardinal baseball games, promotional events, etc.
