	Winston was rescued from East St. Louis. When he was found, he was suffering from heartworm, mange, and malnutrition. Worst of all, it appeared from his many scars that he was used as a "bait dog" until he was abandoned. Winston has completed his heartworm and mange treatments. All of his hair has returned. He is truly a lover. Despite his horrible treatment prior to arriving at Stray Rescue, he loves all people and all dogs. He follows his foster dad everywhere. Give him a chance, and he'll lick you to death. He gets along great with the three other dogs in his foster home. He doesn't appear to like cats, though. He is completely house trained and crate trained. Since regaining his health, Winston is full of energy. He would do best with an active family that will exercise him daily. Winston's unconditional love will truly brighten the lives of the lucky people that adopt him.
