| I'm Zane, a beautiful golden-white Shepherd mix that has had a hard life for my short 1 ½ years. But I'm extremely loving and smart plus the fun spirit of a puppy in adult doggie body. My hobbies? Well, my all-time favorite thing to do is going for walks. When my foster parents get ready to leave, I hop around, grab my leash and plead like crazy until I can go explore the neighborhood. Sometimes, they take me running. I think it's rather funny just jogging along, but when my long legs get going, I'm really beautiful and would be an ideal friend for a runner or an outdoorsmen. I also love to cuddle and get attention. I'll lay right next to you for hours if you pet me. I'm housebroken and when I stay in my kennel at night or during the day when my fosters are at work, I keep things spotless! I do love to hide their shoes when they're not looking. I don't chew on them, I just rearrange things a bit. That's how I trick my foster parents into a little playtime. I'm also excited to learn. I'm great on a leash and know how to "Sit". Right now, I'm working on "Stay" and "Lay down" and a few other tricks to impress you. On top of that I'm fully vaccinated, micro chipped and neutered. When I was little, I was adopted and returned due to my guardian neglecting to take me to vet appointments. My fosters thinks I could have also had some issues with people being mean to me. So, that's why it takes me a few hours to learn to trust you and my surroundings. But afterwards, I'm a sweet dog that just wants affection. I have even been in a home with other dogs, children and cats. Plus I guard my fosters so well, they think I'd be a great protector dog too. As you can see, I'm eager to start a new life with you!
