Stray Rescue of St. Louis

Your Business & Stray Rescue

Business Partnerships - Get Involved

There are so many ways to get your company involved at Stray Rescue. Here are some of the ways, but we are always open to new ideas! To do something different, please call our Marketing Manager, Natalie, at 314-771-6121.  We look forward to bringing our brands together!

Ways your company can get involved:

Sponsor adoption Fees

You can get involved by sponsoring adoption fees! At the beginning of 2017 we began offering 'sponsored adoptions' by generous, local companies. Since we began doing this to waive the $100 adoption fee, our adoption applications have doubled in volume! We are able to help so many more animals. PLUS, you'll be all over our social media and receive lots of visibility in the community. For information on sponsoring adoptions, please call Natalie (314) 771-6121 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Sponsor a month in our Calendar

Each year we release our new Stray Rescue of St. Louis Calendar. For every month, we feature a different dog or cat that made an amazing transformation and tell their story. Our calendar is a big-time seller in our online store!  Sponsor a month right here!

For information on sponsoring the entire calendar, please call Natalie (314) 771-6121 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Sponsor an Event

We host 4 main events each year:

  • Spring for Strays Event- A fun and light-hearted event to kick off the spring season, typically held at the Moonrise Hotel rooftop in May. Silent & live auciton, drinks, adoptable dogs, t-shirts and merchandise, and even a drag show!
  • Urban Wanderers - This one-of-a-kind art exhibition is held at the SLU Museum of Art in June. Nearly 80 local artists come together to depict the story of a dog we rescued.  Our dogs and cats also paint themselves with their noses, tails, and paws!  All artwork is avaiable for option, and there is an Opening Night, a Tail End, as well as events throughout the 6 week show during the summer.
  • Golf Tournament - Call in sick, take off work - just don't miss St. Louis' favorite charity golf tournament at Forest Park! The sunshine-filled day in September includes dinner, a silent auction, and awards.
  • Holiday Gala - Our holiday gala is our biggest fundraising event of the year! This is a heartwarming and feel-good event to kick off the holiday season and is held in the first week of December. Typically held at the Chase Park Plaza, the evening is filled with celebrity appearances, a silent and live auction, a fund-the-need, live art, videos, and even an appearance from the dogs who have stolen the hearts of our city.

Bring your team down for a group volunteer day

Interested in getting your team together and spending a day in the sunshine walking dogs?  This great team-building experience does such good for the dogs. They get out of their apartments and meet new people, which makes them more adoptable.  To set something up or to have your questions answered, please email our Volunteer Coordinator, This email address is being protected from spambots. Sponsor a dog or cat

Is your company interested in taking care of the bills for a dog or cat we rescue? Whether one of our rescue stories melts your heart or they are named after you or your company, you have the opportunity to take care of their bills while they await their forever home! This cost includes spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, and any emergency surgeries, etc. Just emailThis email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Sponsor a "Phase 2" Apartment Room

In the Fall of 2016, Stray Rescue experienced a heartbreaking distemper outbreak that forced us to close our doors for several months as we treated the sick and worked around the clock to eradicate the disease. True to our values, we treated each dog individually instead of simply euthanizing all the dogs in the shelter or any who showed symptoms, as is standard protocol at many other shelters. We were very fortunate to receive the advice and counsel of the veterinary team at the University of Wisconsin, who are known experts in the field of disease prevention and crisis management of distemper. One of the recommendations they made was in regard to how we shelter and care for the dogs located in the Phase 2 apartment room. Their suggestion is to reconfigure and renovate Phase 2 using the Mason Company’s Sani-Kennels system.  To purchase a Sani-Kennel, click here. Questions?
