I have been working from home while fostering Charlotte, and she has adapted very well to our schedule of work time with walk breaks -- spending “work hours” entertaining herself looking outside the window or playing or sleeping. She is house trained and her leash manners are improving, but there is so much outside that gets her excited -- she pulls excitedly sometimes lunging toward other dogs we pass on the sidewalk, and would love to chase squirrels and rabbits if she could. Charlotte would do well with someone who would take her on brisk walks, and also take time to play with her (inside or outside). She loves to have an audience when she is playing and does a little play-biting at my hands while playing or cuddling. When she has settled down after playtime, she sweetly comes up to give a kiss & get a little petting. She is a sweet & playful girl ready for her forever home.
PLEASE NOTE THAT CHARLOTTE IS IN A FOSTER HOME, NOT AT OUR SHELTER.
PLEASE CHECK STATUS BEFORE FILLING OUT AN APPLICATION TO MAKE SURE THERE IS NOT AN ADOPTION PENDING.
