You may have seen Ferdinand's rescue video where he was being carried out of the basement of an abandoned house. He and his sister, Kennerly, were about 10 weeks old when rescued. They had had very little to no contact with people. They were very scared and under socialized. Both puppies went to foster homes and are doing well! Ferdinand is really coming around. He romps and plays with the other dogs in his foster home. He loves to sleep on the couch with his foster mom and the other dogs. He does still get scared when introduced to new surroundings. It could take awhile for him to get accustomed to going to new places. But with a family that is patient he will learn that he is safe no matter where he is and learn to explore. He would do best with a family that is active and likes to take him places with them to help him socialize. Another social dog will also help him. Please give this little guy the chance he deserves to have a happy, loving life with a famly.
