Helen Lincoln is a sweet young lady, who is the perfect balance of playful puppy, and lazy old pup. At 1 year of age, she is still learning basic commands and how to potty outside. But! She is SO good at pottying on puppy pads. Helen spends most of her days lying at her foster mom's feet.
Helen Lincoln gets along great with her 14 year old foster sister. She knows when to back off playing and shares space nicely. Helen is definitely a nervous girl. When new people come into her home, she's protective of her foster mom, but warms up after a couple meetings. She has gotten used to her kennel, and sleeps in there well overnight (OK, sometimes in bed with her foster mom, but come on, look at her.)
Helen Lincoln likes walks, car rides, and hanging with people outside. She has been to one outdoor social gathering with lots of humans and dogs and she did a pretty good job!! She did not show any signs of aggression, but she definitely was nervous. Her foster mom thinks it will just take some warming up.
Helen Lincoln would do best with a family or individual- a regular schedule and a yard would be ideal : )
PLEASE NOTE THAT HELEN LINCOLN IS IN A FOSTER HOME, NOT AT OUR SHELTER.
