Five puppies saved from a house fire

For so many of us, our worst nightmare is experiencing a house fire. Would our family and pets get out in time? It’s so scary and heart wrenching to even imagine.

So, when our rescue dispatch team answered the phone and EMTs were on the other end, we knew we had to help. They responded to a house fire and rescued all these pups. The owner is being displaced from their home and can no longer care for them.

Cassady instantly said, “YES, we will help them all!” Our adoption managers, Joe & Tori said, “we’ll go set up their comfy spots with blankets, fresh water and food right now.”

Immediately, our entire team was engaged and wanted to help. The puppies have just arrived, and we named them Fire Truck, Ambulance, Tanker, Ladder Truck, & Brush Truck. Four boys, and one girl. They are being checked out by our medical team now. They came in smelling like smoke, but their lungs sound good. They are covered in fleas, but we’re giving them preventative so all the fleas will be eradicated within the hour.

Now they need YOUR help! We need foster homes for them TODAY! They are 3 months old, dog friendly, and sweet as can be. They just want comfort, love, and to be held. These little babies have been through so much already. Can you come foster one today? There are so many heroes involved in this story, and now we’re calling on our community to be a hero, too.

If you cannot foster, please make a donation today! All the puppies need to be spayed/neutered, get vaccinations, and given preventatives. Every dollar can make a world of difference:
