I knew you’d come!!!

You can often tell how sweet a dog is, just by the shape of their eyes. Everyone, meet Barlow. He is covered in new wounds, old wounds, and has scars literally on every part of his body. Yet his eyes are soft. Life on the street is so scary, but he hasn’t let it harden him. When we walked up, his little head popped up and it was as if he was saying, “I knew you’d come. I’m ready.” Even the sweetest dogs get in fights. Street dogs fight over females in heat, over the scarcity of food, dominance, territory…you name it. It felt so good to get this sweet man out of the heat and to the safety of our shelter. Now we get to help him heal and fatten him up. We need fosters!
