In Loving Memory of Kathleen Simon

Kathleen was the most wonderful lady. She was in a wheelchair for the past 5 years of her life with several other ailments but, that wouldn’t keep her down. She loved her life, kids & especially her grandkids.

My mom always had a love for animals. Any animals they (we) have ever adopted have been rescues. My mom had a special love for Randy & everyone there at Stray rescue. My parents didn’t have a whole lot of money but she would always donate to you guys whenever she could. Even if it was only $5 or $10. She had a very special love for dogs and her grand dogs. She lost her chow mix Rocky almost 2 years ago now after having him for 17 years!!! He was the love of her life. My mom wanted us to bury Rocky with her so we are going to honor her wishes & put some of his ashes with her.

My mom was the heart and soul of our family. And we thought it would be very appropriate to honor her in this way.. Her family asks that in lieu of flowers, you make a donation to Stray Rescue of St. Louis in her name. 

Your donation made in Kathleen’s name will be allocated to our Stracks Fund for life-saving medical emergency care, and will help us rescue those who need us most.
