Mandy is a beautiful dog. With the dark markings around her eyes, she looks a bit like a panda, and the rest of her face resembles a koala. She is the total picture of cuteness.
Mandy was rescued from a family who kept her outside even in frigid weather. She found warmth and nurturing at Stray Rescue. Mandy is an older dog who enjoys her naps and her treats. However she can also be very active. She loves car rides, playing in the yard, and going for walks. She does very well on the leash. Mandy is dog friendly. Also she is house broken and crate trained and knows the commands of “sit” and “stay.” Mandy does not readily accept new people into her circle. However, once you trust her, she will be able to trust you. In the right circumstances Mandy can be very loving. The staff and volunteers who have connected with her really enjoy Mandy.
Mandy needs a miracle - someone who will take the time necessary to earn her confidence. She certainly deserves the chance to spend the rest of her life in a home where she can learn to be a good canine companion.
