Mummy is looking for a very special forever home. Stray Rescue tracked Mummy on the streets for over 3 years before they were able to rescue her and one of her many litters of puppies. Like many former feral dogs, Mummy can be very skittish and is scared of anything that is new to her. She needs experienced owners who will be very patient when introducing her to new experiences. Mummy would also do best in a home with another calm, friendly dog who can help her keep coming out of her shell. Despite her fear, Mummy has adjusted really well to living in a home and has even been house trained since the day she went to foster! She loves to hang out in her kennel and even knows how to “kennel up”. She walks very well on a leash, but she is a FLIGHT RISK so she either needs a home with a fenced in yard or to have leash walks only. Mummy doesn’t like to be petted, and she’ll probably never be a cuddle bug, but she’s perfectly happy to lay around the house and check in on you every once in a while you work from home or watch tv. If this all sounds like you, please apply to give this very special girl the home she deserves!
PLEASE NOTE THAT MUMMY IS IN A FOSTER HOME, NOT AT OUR SHELTER.
PEASE CHECK STATUS BEFORE FILLING OUT AN APPLICATION TO MAKE SURE THERE IS NOT AN ADOPTION PENDING.
