Three Broken Legs and a Partridge in a Pear Tree

Meet Partridge, a precious little baby in need of some major help! Her x-rays make us ache, her legs are so badly broken. She was most likely hit by a car, but we'll never know for sure. But what we do know is that she is sweet beyond belief, and she's a warrior. We can't help but fall in love with that little underbite. 

The clock is ticking, and we feel the urgency. If we don't act immediately the breaks will develop callouses. We’ll do everything in the world to help Partridge, and she knows she's in the loving arms of the Stray Rescue Family. We're hopeful she will be able to keep all 4 limbs. Her amazing specialists feel confident they can do all three surgeries in one week so she’ll only have to endure ONE recovery. It will be a very difficult week for this young soul, and she needs your prayers. 

All three surgeries have been quoted at $10,000 - $12,000 total, but this little puppy's life is worth every single penny, and we have to give her a chance. She deserves to bound down a set of stairs at dinner time, run after a child making them giggle, or to chase down a ball in a daily game of fetch. We want to see her roll around in the grass with all 4 legs up in the air, carefree and happy - as every dog should.

UPDATE 12/17:

Three month old Partridge came to us with not one, not two, but THREE broken legs. She needed some serious help and she needed it quick. She was most likely hit by a car, but we'll never know for sure. Her surgeons said one of the breaks is old and the other two are new, so could she possibly have been hit by a car TWICE?? What a scary three months she's had so far in life. 
She is the sweetest little puppy in the world and we fell in love with this little warrior immediately. Beside, have you ever seen a baby with a face and teeth like this? 

YOU took the chance and gave what you could. Together, we raised almost $10,000 and decided to move forward with the surgeries. WELL....(are you ready for a Christmas miracle?)....

Partridge is W A L K I N G!!!!

A human would need a year to recover after something like this, but this little furry baby is so strong and brave. Her doctors and nurses have all fallen in love (can you blame them!?) and she received "Best Patient Awards" for every day she was with them. :) This WARRIOR is a miracle girl. She begins her healing journey today and we promise to keep you updated every STEP of the way! Thank you for seeing the value in her life!
