Meet Potato Potado!

It is a HOT day for a rescue. St. Louis is under a heat advisory through tomorrow, so there is no time to waste. This little lady showed up on someone's porch, and he noticed open wounds on her legs. She has bite marks all over, street life is so hard.

Potato Potado got to ride shotgun in the rescue Jeep, right next to the air vents.
That shiny bottom lip...
Her bite wounds are all the way up her leg, so we'll sedate her to clean her wounds and x-ray to make sure her leg isn't broken since she's not putting weight on it.
It's ok, little one. We got you!

Potato Potado was so worried, but she'll feel much better when she wakes up from sedation. She has bite marks all over, but one particular nasty wound that is oozing and very deep. Luckily, the x-rays didn't show anything major, so she should heal just fine with time and bandage changes (we will need to keep this wound very clean), & antibiotics.
