Share your heart and home with an orphan pet for a beautiful spring weekend!
Host a sweet soul for Rovernights!
Our shelter is at maximum capacity (our new normal). We are right nextdoor to the new Citypark stadium, so we are offering Rovernights during St. Louis CITY SC homegame weekends! We do not have our own parking, and with so many people walking near our shelter, it is hard for our staff to safely walk everyone. Rovernights will not only help our staff a great deal, but you could meet the greatest love of your life!!
We don't want anyone to be alone during these beautiful spring weekends, especially when there is so much love to share. So if your upcoming spring weekend is looking a little quiet, we are here to make it the most memorable weekend you have ever had! We are offering weekend Rovernights Friday - Monday for dogs and cats.
We are hoping all of our adult dogs can spend the weekend with someone special outside of the shelter. If you are thinking about adopting a dog and would like to open your home and heart to someone special, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Their bags are packed and they are ready to spoon with you all weekend long!
"This is the love of our life after a Rovernight in 2021! We kept his name, this is Nero."Love,Rovernight Foster Mom turned FOREVER Mom, Kelly
"I’m excited to say Frankie is now promoted to big brother!! He loves to cuddle up and lay his head on my belly. It’s like he’s aware of the changes in my body. No matter where I go, he’s following right behind me. Even when I go into the restroom he stands in front of the door like he’s on guard duty lol. He’s so precious and we love him so so much. Rovernights is such a wholesome and might I say genius idea to connect these wonderful pets to families. Thank you for all that you do."
Love, Forever Mom Jen
We took this girl home for a Valentine Rovernight and quickly decided we would never be able to give her back. Her name is Lexington and we are teaching her how gentle humans really are. We’re pretty sure she was an “outside dog” for the first 6.5 years of her life before breaking free and gaining freedom through Stray Rescue. Her story is a heart wrenching one and the pictures make me sad to look at.
She loves to cuddle and is eager to learn new tricks. She’s such a fast learner and we are absolutely smitten with her!”
Pick up times are on Friday betwen 11am and 6pm with drop offs Monday between 10am and 6pm.
We will provide dog food, toys, treats, a bed...whatever you need!
- Your weekend doggie guest should be kept completely separate from other pets in the house. THIS IS FOR SAFETY.
- If you are having company or a party with a large gathering of people, this would not be a good time to bring a pup home. They are looking for a quiet and relaxing couple of days out of the shelter full of cuddling!
