Share your heart and home with an orphan pet this Thanksgiving!
Host a sweet soul for Rovernights this Thanksgiving!
We don't want any humans spending Thanksgiving alone when there is so much love waiting for you right here! The holiday season means a lot of hustle and bustle for some, but for others they can be very lonely. So, we are excited to offer Rovernights for the Thanksgiving holiday this year! This means you can come get a dog or cat on Wednesday, 11/22. You will keep them for a few nights and can return them Sunday 11/26. Of course, if you just can't bring them back, we can talk ;)
Rovernights will not only help our staff a great deal, but you could meet the greatest love of your life!! Our shelter is at maximum capacity again....always. It's been this way all year. It breaks our heart how many animals need help out there.
So if your upcoming Thanksgiving holiday is looking a little quiet, we are here to make it the most memorable Thanksgiving you have ever had!
We are hoping all of our adult dogs can spend the holiday with someone special outside of the shelter. If you are thinking about adopting a dog and would like to open your home and heart to someone special, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Their bags are packed and they are ready to spoon with you all weekend long!

"This is the love of our life after a Rovernight! We kept his name, this is Nero."Love,Rovernight Foster Mom turned FOREVER Mom, Kelly
"I’m excited to say Frankie is now promoted to big brother!! He loves to cuddle up and lay his head on my belly. It’s like he’s aware of the changes in my body. No matter where I go, he’s following right behind me. Even when I go into the restroom he stands in front of the door like he’s on guard duty lol. He’s so precious and we love him so so much. Rovernights is such a wholesome and might I say genius idea to connect these wonderful pets to families. Thank you for all that you do."
Love, Forever Mom Jen
We took this girl home for a Valentine Rovernight and quickly decided we would never be able to give her back. Her name is Lexington and we are teaching her how gentle humans really are. We’re pretty sure she was an “outside dog” for the first 6.5 years of her life before breaking free and gaining freedom through Stray Rescue. Her story is a heart wrenching one and the pictures make me sad to look at.
She loves to cuddle and is eager to learn new tricks. She’s such a fast learner and we are absolutely smitten with her!”
Pick up times are on Wednesday, 11/22 betwen 11am and 6pm with drop offs Sunday between 11am and 5pm.
We will provide dog food, toys, treats, a bed...whatever you need!

- Your weekend doggie guest should be kept completely separate from other pets in the house. THIS IS FOR SAFETY.
- If you are having company or a party with a large gathering of people, this would not be a good time to bring a pup home. They are looking for a quiet and relaxing couple of days out of the shelter full of cuddling!
