Second Chances Resale Shop on Pine Street
Thank you for shopping at and donating to our resale shop! Because all items are donated and the shop is run by volunteers, 100% of every purchase helps the dogs and cats at Stray Rescue of St. Louis! Stop by often because the shop will never look the same twice. Most items are one-of-a-kind and once they're gone, they're gone!
We'll accept all of your household treasures! Christmas Trees, decorations, wall art, games, unique items, and yes, even furniture!
The only things we will not accept due to size of our shop:
- All donations must be dropped off, we cannot pick up items.
Because Second Chances Resale Shop by Stray Rescue of St. Louis sells items to support our programs, we cannot accept donated items that we cannot sell. Please do not donate items that are ripped, stained, broken, missing parts, or otherwise unusable or in need of repair. All electronics and appliances should be less than 10 years old and in working order. A good rule of thumb is “Would I give this to a neighbor?”
The Resale Shop is located at:
2320 Pine Street, at the corner of Pine Street and 23rd Street - next door to Stray Rescue of St. Louis
St. Louis, MO 63103
Open Hours (Shopping & Donations):
Thursday: 12p - 4p
Friday: 12p - 4p
Saturday: 12p - 4p
Sunday: 12p - 4p
How did Second Chances Resale Shop come to be?
Our CEO, Cassady Caldwell, was walking through our warehouse and thought...We could do so much more with this space. Shortly after, it was transformed from a warehouse into a unique and charming Resale Shop, in hopes to bolster the Stray Rescue of St. Louis Stracks Fund (for medical emergencies) with incoming funding the rescue can count on.
Next time you update your home decor or do some spring cleaning, we would be honored to sell your treasures.
*Attention local artists and jewelry makers: We'd love to sell your unique and handmade items as well!*
We are ALWAYS looking for volunteers! Click here to get signed up, we need you! It's a great way to help the dogs in need and our mission without having to walk big, strong dogs. We do not accept volunteers under 18 years old, but this is a great opportunity to volunteer with your kids, too.
