Hi my name is Timmy the Christmas Elf. I am currently living the good life with my foster mom, who is showing me the ropes (she says I'm a good boy a lot so I think I'm doing pretty good). I am great at sitting and I am working on stay, lay down and loose leash walking. I am very treat and food motivated which helps make training easy. I don't get on the furniture, but if my future family allows me to, I would love to hop up and snuggle. Snuggles, naps, and belly rubs are some of my favorite things. I am open to having a dog sibling but I am sometimes picky about who I want to be friends with, so I would like to meet them first. I can sometimes be protective of my foster mom, so I like to meet new people slowly and I may take a few minutes to warm up to them (I have to make sure they are cool in my book, usually treats and walks help to sway my opinion). My foster mom thinks I would be good with older kids, I think I would love younger kids, but she thinks I might knock them over.
